Frank Malbon joins Tidewater Home Funding, LLC as Senior Vice President of Residential Lending
Frank Malbon has joined Tidewater Home Funding as Senior Vice President of Residential Lending. Malbon provides mortgage lending services to his customers and works with Tidewater Home Funding’s executive leadership to grow business in Virginia Beach and the Hampton Roads community. Malbon is currently located in the Chesapeake corporate office, and will work to establish an additional Virginia Beach branch to compliment those on Great Neck Road and General Booth Blvd.
A graduate of Hampden-Sydney College with a bachelor’s degree in government and foreign affairs, Malbon has been a top producer throughout his tenure in the home loan industry. His senior leadership experience in mortgage banking includes branch manager and assistant vice president positions, as well as serving as President of a local joint venture mortgage firm, all located in Hampton Roads.
Malbon, a Virginia Beach native, is a current Board Member of the Virginia Beach Education Foundation and VBEF Chairperson for the annual Pearls of Wisdom Party. Malbon is a founding member, past President and current Board Member of the Old Coast Guard Museum. Malbon is a current member and past President of the Youth Services Club. Malbon has been past President of both the Tidewater Mortgage Bankers Association and Virginia Mortgage Lenders Association. Malbon’s community involvement also includes church, sports and other philanthropic efforts serving all of Hampton Roads.
