I was born in Ankara, Turkey, where my father served as a retired Master Sergeant in the Air Force. I currently reside in Suffolk, Virginia and have lived in various locations including Adana, Turkey, Minot, North Dakota, Orlando, Florida, and Gates County, North Carolina. I received my education from Gates County High School and obtained a diploma in Computer Programming and Word Processing from E.C.P.I. Additionally, I completed two management courses through Cornell University. I am an active member of the Suffolk Business Women group. My family consists of my husband Keith, our daughter, Courteney, and two furry companions, Duke and Case. During my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones, visiting the beach, fishing, and helping my husband with our family's farming operation. Helping others brings me joy, and my first job was chopping peanuts on the farm in Gates County during the summers while I was in high school. The most enjoyable job I had was waitressing at Pizza Inn in Ahoskie, NC when I was in high school. Currently, I work as a Mortgage Loan Originator with Tidewater Home Funding.
