Gee Horton has joined Tidewater Home Funding’s production team as a senior mortgage loan officer. Prior to joining Tidewater Home Funding, Horton was one of BB&T’s top five mortgage loan officers in this region for several years. As a Merchant Services sales professional, she was a regular recipient of the quarterly Sterling honors and placed in the top 10 for BB&T Merchant Services for 4 years. Horton’s exceptional customer service and clear understanding of today’s diverse mortgage products is evident by her consistently impressive customer service reviews.
Horton has served as an Assistant Teacher for Autistic Children for Hampton City Schools, where her calm and caring demeanor helped mentor and prepare these young special needs students for a regular classroom setting and life skills development.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Horton has been a part of the Peninsula community for 28 years. Horton works at the Tidewater Home Funding office located on Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, serving the Virginia Peninsula and Williamsburg.
